Job Summary

Cortica is seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join its multi-disciplinary team in Westlake Village, CA. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing life-changing care to children with neurodevelopmental differences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Treatment Planning: Establish occupational therapy treatment goals through dynamic and standardized assessment tools, and consult closely with multi-disciplinary team members to create collaborative treatment plans and integrative strategies.
  • Therapy Sessions: Provide individual therapy sessions as well as group and/or co-treats with other disciplines as therapeutically appropriate, and maintain patient records, documentation, and appropriate billing in accordance with federal and state regulations and company policy.
  • Interventions: Provide play-based and goal-based interventions to promote sensory processing, regulation, and skill development in daily occupations, and facilitate functional and stimulating experiences to target and achieve individualized goals.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with the individual and family to understand their values, interests, and goals, and devise strategies and supports to help the individual more fully engage in activities of daily living.
  • Program Development: Contribute to program development, and educate patients, families, team members, and caregivers on home programs that complement treatment.
Requirements
  • Education: Possess a master's degree in a related field.
  • Licensure: Hold a current and unrestricted license and/or certification that is required to practice within your clinical domain and obtain cross-state licensure in new states as indicated by the current business needs.
  • Clinical Skills: Have excellent clinical skills, and be flexible and open to learning.
  • Software Skills: Be skilled at using software and systems including electronic medical record systems and Microsoft Office products.
