Senior Ab Initio Developer

As a Sr. Ab Initio Developer at C4 Technical Services, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing complex data processing solutions using Ab Initio. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and excellent problem-solving abilities.
Key Responsibilities- Create data profiles, write scripts, and develop workflows to support data quality initiatives.
- Perform data analysis to identify data quality issues and develop solutions to address them.
- Write code for moderately complex system designs, including APIs and data integration.
- Review and improve existing code, ensuring it meets high standards of quality and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, systems analysts, and project managers, to ensure successful project delivery.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system specifications and user guides.
- 5+ years of experience with Ab Initio, including hands-on development experience with Ab Initio Continuous Flow.
- Strong understanding of data quality processes and data governance procedures.
- Experience with ETL development tools, such as Informatica, Mulesoft, Talend, Datastage, and SSIS.
- Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, including Hive and HBase.
- Experience with Linux operating systems, including RHEL.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on understanding overall business issues and determining innovative solutions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with varied stakeholders and team members.
