At BioLife Plasma Services, we are seeking a skilled Medical Screener to join our team. As a Medical Screener, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our donors.
You will be responsible for screening new and repeat donors, taking and recording vital signs, and using our Donor Information System to prepare donor charts and maintain accurate records.
We are looking for a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual who is able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Screen new and repeat donors to ensure their safety and eligibility to donate
- Take and record vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and pulse
- Use our Donor Information System to prepare donor charts and maintain accurate records
- Provide exceptional customer service to our donors, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Work effectively in a team environment to ensure the smooth operation of the plasma donation center
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to lift up to 5 pounds and occasionally lift materials up to 32 pounds
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously
