Job SummaryThe Embryologist II is a highly skilled professional responsible for performing advanced micromanipulation techniques, including embryo biopsy and ICSI. This role requires a strong understanding of assisted reproduction and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced laboratory environment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform advanced micromanipulation of embryos and oocytes, including embryo biopsy and ICSI
- Conduct laboratory assignments correctly and reliably, including routine procedures and quality control tests
- Communicate laboratory findings and interpretations with physicians, nurses, and patients
- Assist laboratory director in maintaining and updating laboratory supplies and equipment
- Participate in continuing education activities and quality improvement programs
- Bachelor's degree in biological or chemical sciences or equivalent relevant experience
- Three to five years' experience in a relevant role, including advanced micromanipulation, tissue culture, sterile techniques, and egg iteration
- Certification as ART is preferred
