As a Registered Nurse - RN Supervisor at Waldorf Center in Waldorf, MD, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our patients. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate nurse leader to join our team and support the Director of Nursing in achieving positive clinical outcomes and patient/family satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and direct the clinical operations of the nursing units on assigned shifts, ensuring compliance with Genesis policies and procedures, practice standards, and regulations.
  • Facilitate the implementation of the care delivery model and processes, collaborating with the Director of Nursing to maintain adequate nursing staff and minimize overtime and agency personnel.
  • Participate in staff mentorship, recruitment, new hire orientation, and recommend employee promotions, transfers, and terminations.

Qualifications:

Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing, college, or university; BSN preferred. Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing is required. Minimum of three years full-time or equivalent clinical experience is preferred, with a minimum of two years of clinical experience in long-term care and one year in a management/administrative or supervisory capacity.
