Hand Therapy Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Hand Therapy Specialist to join our team and provide high-quality hand therapy services to patients in our West Side Outpatient Centers. As a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT), you will be responsible for evaluating, planning, and implementing treatment programs for patients with upper extremity disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate patients with upper extremity disorders, including tendon injuries, sprains, strains, and post-operative fractures
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including custom splinting
  • Provide comprehensive and individualized treatment programs
  • Maintain positive interactions with facilities and clients
  • Stay current with Occupational Therapy research and employ Evidence-Based Practice

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school for occupational or physical therapy
  • Hold specialty certification or licensure in hand therapy
  • National registration and state licensure or registration required
  • Previous experience in custom splinting and post-op orthopedic care
  • CPR certification and valid state driver's license
