Job Title: Travel Nurse RN - Progressive Care Unit
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Travel Nurse RN to join our team at a top-rated healthcare facility in Roanoke, Virginia. As a Travel Nurse RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced, high-acuity general medicine PCU.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to patients in the PCU, maintaining patient ratios between 45:1 and 50:1.
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.
- Float to different units as needed to meet the needs of the facility.
- Commit to working at least two of the three major winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year).
- Complete all required orientation and modules prior to the start date.
- Comply with all facility policies and procedures.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain and improve clinical skills.
Requirements:
- Active RN license in good standing.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a PCU or similar setting.
- ACLS certification.
- AHA BLS certification.
- AHA Core Competency Pharmacology Skills Checklist.
- Specialty Exam.
