Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab is seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist to join their team for a travel assignment in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a Cath Lab setting, with a strong focus on patient care and safety. As a Cath Lab Technologist, you will be responsible for preparing patients for procedures, operating imaging equipment, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Operate imaging equipment, such as fluoroscopy and ultrasound machines, to capture high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to infection control protocols and ensuring the proper disposal of biohazardous materials.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care, communicating effectively and responding to emergencies as needed.

Requirements:

  • One to three years of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist, preferably in a travel or per diem setting.
  • Strong knowledge of Cath Lab procedures and protocols, with a focus on patient safety and care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and move about the facility as needed.
