Assembly Technician

Manpower Skilled Technical is seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to support the production of propulsion solutions for the North America Rail Market.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate production equipment to assemble components according to drawings and guidelines.
  • Inspect and adjust completed units to ensure product specifications and quality standards are met.
  • Read and interpret schematic drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, bills of materials, or reports to determine materials requirements or assembly instructions.
  • Measure parts to determine tolerances, using precision measuring instruments such as calipers.
  • Align, fit, or assemble component parts, using hand or power tools, fixtures, templates, or microscopes.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Extensive experience with electromechanical assembly.
  • Extensive wiring experience.
  • Direct assembly experience reading and interpreting schematic drawings.
  • Ability to physically lift 35 pounds.
