Audiovisual Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Audiovisual Technician to join our team at the Oklahoma Memorial Union. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and operation of audiovisual equipment and systems.

• Audiovisual Equipment Management: Install, maintain, and operate audiovisual equipment and systems, including sound and lighting systems, projectors, and screens.
• Event Support: Provide technical support for events hosted in the Oklahoma Memorial Union, including setup, operation, and takedown of audiovisual equipment.
• Equipment Repair and Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on audiovisual equipment, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
• Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with event planners, performers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless event execution.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest audiovisual technologies and best practices, and make recommendations for improvements to our systems and processes.

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent, and 12 months of experience in general electronics.
• Skills: Composes correspondence, performs routine computations, and may train employees on the use of specialized equipment.
• Special Requirements: May perform shift work, may require driving, valid Oklahoma driver's license, certification in a specified field, or some overnight travel.
