Assembly and Manufacturing Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated Assembly and Manufacturing Specialist to join our team at Trane Technologies in Vidalia, GA. As a key member of our production team, you will play a critical role in assembling components into finished goods using easy hand tools in a quality manner.

The estimated salary for this position is $$35,000 - $45,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer comprehensive benefits and a winning culture that values diversity, inclusivity, and respect.

Key responsibilities include:

• Working safely in accordance with safety policies to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues
• Loading and unloading items from conveyors and carts to maintain efficient production processes
• Building components used in the production process to meet high-quality standards
• Ensuring customer and quality system compliance through quality checks/tests and product examination
• Supporting plant cost reductions and process improvement projects using lean methods and techniques

In addition to these responsibilities, you will be expected to:

• Able to speak, read, and write English, understand simple written or oral instructions
• Preferably 6 months of manufacturing experience
• No GED or High School Diploma required
• Passing a skills literacy assessment test
• Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues to achieve common goals
• Work any shift and overtime as necessary to meet production demands
• Use all required safety gear and equipment to maintain a safe working environment
• Maintain an acceptable attendance record and adhere to company policies
• Familiarity with power, pneumatic, and hand tools and ability to use them effectively

This role requires moderate physical exertion, including tasks requiring hand and eye coordination, lifting and carrying objects, bending and twisting, and standing for long periods.
