Key Responsibilities- Assist physicians in patient care tasks, diagnostic procedures, and therapeutic procedures.
- Screen patients to determine the need for medical attention and review patient records to determine health status.
- Take patient histories, record pertinent patient data, and make decisions regarding data gathering and patient management.
- Prepare patient summaries, initiate requests for laboratory and radiological studies, and identify normal and abnormal findings.
- Initiate evaluation and emergency management for emergency situations, such as cardiac arrest, respiratory distress, injuries, burns, and hemorrhage.
- Post-graduate diploma or certificate program in physician assistant studies.
- Physician Assistant licensure.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within one year of hire.
- Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire.
This is a full-time regular position located at our General-MSOB location in Charleston, WV.
