Job Title: Mammography Technologist

Samba Care is seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Mammography Technologist to work with our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mammography and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct mammography studies by positioning breasts, adjusting compression mechanisms, and instructing patients to hold their breath.
  • Minimize radiation to patients and staff by practicing radiation protection techniques.
  • Maintain production and quality of mammograms by following established standards and procedures.
  • Ensure operation of mammography equipment by completing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting malfunctions, and calling for repairs.
  • Keep mammography supplies and patient drapes ready by inventorying stock, placing orders, and collecting and processing laundry.
  • Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures.
