Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Superintendent to lead our production team at our Accomac, VA facility. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for driving plant effectiveness and efficiency, providing direction and training to team leaders and hourly production associates, and ensuring a safe and secure working environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and manage operating and capital budgets for the assigned area to maintain a competitive position in the industry.
  • Meet facility operational plans to ensure yield, birds per man-hour, pounds per man-hour, line efficiency, CSI, and QI requirements are met.
  • Develop and implement processes to reduce turnover, improve safety results, and create a positive work environment.
  • Provide training to improve supervisory skills and hourly production associate skills to maximize results.
  • Support and promote the Company's annual goals through effective planning and communication.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in production management, excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to drive process improvement and efficiency.
