As a Respiratory Care Specialist, you will be responsible for supervising shift activities and serving as an expert during your assigned shift. Your duties will include supporting staffing and assignments, providing resource support, and fulfilling patient care workload. You will also serve as a role model and advocate for a collaborative team environment between staff and physicians. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in respiratory care, with a minimum of two years of clinical experience and current certifications in BCLS, ACLS, and NRP. Additionally, you will be proficient in all patient care settings, including adult ICU and NICU. If you have limited NICU experience, you will be able to ramp up your skills within a defined timeframe. A Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) and a current licensure as a Respiratory Care Professional in the state of Georgia are required. If you are a motivated and experienced Respiratory Therapist looking for a challenging leadership role, we encourage you to apply.
