Job Title: Home Health Physical Therapy Assistant

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team in Chester Heights, Pennsylvania.

About the Role:

As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will work closely with our multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide rehabilitative care and skilled nursing to clients in their homes. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Performing diagnostic tests and measurements to assess client mobility and function
  • Implementing individualized care plans, including manual therapeutic exercises and gait training
  • Continuously assessing and revising care plans to ensure optimal client outcomes
  • Educating clients and their families on rehabilitative care and activities to promote independent living
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current Pennsylvania Physical Therapist license
  • A minimum of one year of recent work experience as a Physical Therapist
  • Graduation from a program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association or the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association
  • Solid computer skills and prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred
