Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Psychiatric Nurse to join our interdisciplinary team at Brigham and Women's Faulkner Hospital, an affiliate of Mass General Brigham.

About the Role

This is a full-time 36-hour position that involves working day/night rotations with an every other weekend rotation. As a Psychiatric Nurse, you will provide comprehensive care to adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients in a multidisciplinary therapeutic environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care consistent with the mission and goals of assisting patients in the recovery process and providing for a safe milieu through alliance building with patients.
  • Share charge nurse responsibilities with other experienced nurses, leading the staff by planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating clinical care.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Nursing and Massachusetts Registered Nurse Licensure.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers.
  • A minimum of one year inpatient psychiatry experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to work compassionately with persons who experience behavioral health issues on a secure inpatient psychiatric unit.

Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $$115,000 - $140,000 per year, based on your level of experience and qualifications. This amount may vary depending on your specific circumstances.
