Mammography Technologist

This position requires performing a variety of radiological technical procedures specific to the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease in a high-volume outpatient setting.

Responsibilities include producing high-quality radiographic images while interacting with patients in a caring and comforting manner.

Jointly responsible for performing required quality control activities as mandated by the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) and the FDA.

May be required to utilize general radiography skills to perform diagnostic radiology exams, dependent on location.

Required qualifications include successful completion of a formal radiologic technology training program, meeting the requirements for registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

Additional qualifications include Washington Radiologic Technologist licensure upon hire, National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification upon hire, and National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification upon hire.

Preferred qualifications include 2 years of full-time mammography experience.
