Shift Details: Second shift hours from 3 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
- Ensure safe operations by following established safety protocols and regulations.
- Manufacture precision parts by setting up and operating Computer Numerical Controlled (CNC) Mills and Electro Discharge Machines (EDM).
- Organize machining tasks by reviewing production schedules and setup documentation.
- Manage inventory by assessing stock levels, anticipating needs, placing orders, and confirming receipt of materials.
- Operate Mills and EDMs by loading appropriate materials and executing the correct programming.
- Maintain sharp tools and ensure adequate stock for fixtures, making changes as necessary.
- Perform equipment maintenance by completing preventive tasks, adhering to manufacturer guidelines, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating repairs.
- Facilitate continuity between shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and ongoing requirements.
- Record actions by maintaining production and quality logs.
- Engage in continuous improvement initiatives by identifying ways to enhance safety, efficiency, and quality.
We seek a candidate who is mechanically adept, detail-oriented, and dependable. Proficiency in computer usage for machine control and communication is essential. Strong time management skills are required to meet production schedules.
Training and DevelopmentThe Operator will receive training on setting up CNC machines and running manufacturing programs. Instruction will also be provided on using inspection tools, including calipers, microscopes, indicators, and laser profilers.
