Cyber Forensics Specialist

ManTech is seeking a highly skilled Cyber Forensics Specialist to join our team in Herndon, VA. As a Cyber Forensics Specialist, you will play a critical role in protecting our national security by analyzing and investigating cyber incidents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct forensic examinations to identify the root cause of cyber incidents
  • Provide expertise in computer forensics, mobile device forensics, data and media recovery
  • Reverse engineer and analyze malware to identify vulnerabilities
  • Develop and implement forensic tools using Python, C#, C++, or C
  • Collaborate with the Cyber Forensics team to provide technical reporting and risk analysis
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in digital forensics investigations, malware analysis, reverse engineering, or cyber incident response investigations
  • Experience using forensic tools, such as Xways, Axiom, FTK, Autopsy, Zimmerman tools, or similar
  • Knowledge of concepts and practices of processing digital forensics data
  • Bachelor's Degree in Cybersecurity, Digital Forensics, Computer Science, or other relevant technical field
