Position: School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
We are looking for a skilled and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will provide vital services to students, enhancing their communication abilities and supporting their academic achievements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough evaluations to assess students' speech, language, and communication skills.
- Create and execute tailored treatment plans informed by assessment findings.
- Deliver direct therapeutic interventions to students experiencing speech and language challenges.
- Work collaboratively with educators, families, and other professionals to address students' communication requirements.
- Track and document student progress, modifying treatment strategies as needed.
- Engage in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, contributing insights on student objectives and advancements.
- Provide advice and support to educational staff on effective communication strategies within the classroom setting.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP).
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure.
- Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) is preferred.
- Experience in a school environment is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
