At Channel Control Merchants, we are seeking a skilled Forklift Driver to join our team at our Blue Mountain, Mississippi distribution center.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a reliable and safety-conscious Forklift Driver to operate our forklifts and move merchandise throughout our warehouse. The ideal candidate will have experience operating heavy machinery and be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities:

• Unload trucks and store merchandise in designated bins
• Load trucks with merchandise for shipment to store locations
• Stage pallets for loading
• Move merchandise to and from processing areas
• Keep warehouse aisles clear of debris and identify potential safety hazards
• Sort through transfer trailers
• Move merchandise to open-top containers
• Read inventory reports and load sheets to determine merchandise to be moved
• Confer with supervisors and facility management to determine merchandise to be moved
• Complete equipment inspection sheets to ensure safe operation
• Perform related duties as assigned by supervision

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must have ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Must have ability to stand or sit for extended periods and move merchandise
• Ability to bend and twist frequently
• Ability to squat, kneel, and balance
• Drug screen and background check required

Working Conditions:

• Routinely work near moving mechanical parts
• Willing to work in hot and cold conditions
• Moderate to loud noise levels

Salary: $12.00 per hour
