Imaging Expert Wanted for Avera Health

Avera St. Luke's Hospital is looking for a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team. As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare organization.

Job Summary
  • The ideal candidate will perform a variety of technical and diagnostic procedures in ultrasound as assigned, ensuring high-quality images and accurate diagnoses.
  • You will be responsible for day-to-day operations of the ultrasound department, including the ultrasound operations at the Breast Center.
  • Promote process improvement projects as designated by administration or director, focusing on patient satisfaction and quality improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure policies, standard protocols, and procedures are followed and maintained to guarantee optimal patient care and safety.
  • Participate in the instruction of students and other staff members, sharing your expertise and knowledge to enhance their skills.
Requirements
  • An Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field is required; graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or equivalent specialty.
  • Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology in ultrasound or advanced certification in Ultrasound by ARDMS or equivalent.
  • A minimum of one year experience in general ultrasound and vascular procedures is preferred.
Compensation and Benefits
  • The hourly range for this position is $30.25 - $45.75 per hour, dependent upon experience.
