Airframe & Powerplant Mechanic Role at Textron
We are seeking a highly skilled Airframe & Powerplant Mechanic to join our team. As an experienced mechanic, you will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections, maintenance, modifications, and repairs on Cessna and Beechcraft aircraft models.

About the Job
You can expect to perform a variety of mechanical tasks, including diagnosing malfunctions, disassembly, rework, repair, replacement, reassembly, and adjustment of aircraft systems to prepare for flight and delivery. You will also carry out airframe system and component changes, systems checkout, and install service bulletins and kits on both airframes and engines.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections, maintenance, modifications, and repairs on Cessna and Beechcraft aircraft models.
- Perform a variety of mechanical tasks, including diagnosing malfunctions, disassembly, rework, repair, replacement, reassembly, and adjustment of aircraft systems.
- Carry out airframe system and component changes, systems checkout, and install service bulletins and kits on both airframes and engines.

Requirements
- High school education or GED required.
- A&P License is required.
- Knowledge of 100-hour, annual, and progressive inspection procedures as per FAR 43 is required.
- A minimum of 2 years experience with diversified jet, turboprop, piston, modification, aircraft/flight maintenance.
