About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Dignity Health - Northridge Hospital Medical Center. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating communication disorders and speech-related difficulties in clients of all ages.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess speech and language abilities, including swallowing evaluations and treatment using videofluoroscopy.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans based on assessment findings and implement therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques and strategies.
  • Monitor and document client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care and progress tracking.
  • Provide education and training to clients, families, and caregivers on exercises and techniques for continued progress.

Requirements

  • Current CA SLP license. Recent, board eligible, graduates will be considered for provisional appointments.
  • CFY candidates must apply at conclusion of CFY (required for student supervision).
  • Current CPR/BLS and Fire Safety cards.

Additional Information

Therapists will apply and obtain CCS paneling once one year equivalent of pediatric experience is obtained. Experienced therapists with 1 year equivalent of pediatric experience will apply/obtain CCS paneling within six months of hire.
