We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Behavioral Therapist to join our team at Gersh Autism. As a Behavioral Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality ABA services to families and children.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for clients.
  • Provide direct therapy services to children and families, including skill acquisition and behavior reduction programs.
  • Collaborate with other professionals, including teachers, paraprofessionals, and community members, to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Supervise and train staff members, including BCBAs and RBTs, to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide effective ABA services.
  • Participate in daily and quarterly staff evaluation and performance feedback sessions to ensure continuous improvement.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree from an accredited university in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Psychology, Education, or a related field.
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification in good standing with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BCBA).
  • Minimum 2 years' experience providing ABA services to children with Autism.
  • Experience conducting skill and behavioral assessments, including VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, and FBA.
  • Expertise in developing skill acquisition and behavior reduction programs.
  • Experience supervising BCBAs and/or Behavior Technicians (RBTs) preferred.
Working Conditions:
  • Location: Queens, NY.
  • Monday – Friday / 8:00am – 4:00pm.
  • Must have flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed based on school events.
