Job Description:

As a Commercial HVAC Systems Specialist at Johnson Controls, you will be responsible for performing maintenance, repair, and replacement services on advanced commercial heating and cooling systems.

This role requires hands-on experience in commercial HVAC/R service and includes opportunities for factory certification through the Service Technical Academy. You will work collaboratively with a team that prioritizes employee safety and offers competitive pay along with union benefits.

We are seeking a skilled HVAC systems Journeyman who has worked in residential, light commercial, and/or heavy commercial markets to join our team. As a Commercial HVAC Systems Specialist, you will have the opportunity to develop yourself through meaningful work projects and learning opportunities.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform maintenance, repair, and replacement services on commercial heating and cooling systems
  • Work with advanced heavy commercial and industrial HVAC systems
  • Develop skills through factory certification and training programs
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Two (2) years of Commercial and/or industrial mechanical troubleshooting experience in the HVAC industry
  • Ability to commit to a 30-Hour OSHA Certification
  • Computer savvy with good verbal and written communication skills
