Key Responsibilities- Mix and prepare paint components to precise ratios
- Operate spray painting equipment to paint parts and structures according to departmental schedules
- Maintain and operate equipment, including gun washers and recycling stills
- Manage paint inventory and order supplies as needed
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop new paint procedures and techniques
- Provide training and guidance to new employees
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years of relevant painting experience
- Strong mathematical skills, including ability to calculate ratios
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and proactively develop solutions
- Safely handle, store, label, and dispose of hazardous waste streams
- Conduct weekly inspections of waste handling equipment
- Properly label and manage hazardous waste containers
- Load and unload incoming raw materials and waste materials
