Kennel Assistant Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Kennel Assistant to join our team at Tin Top Pet Resort. As a Kennel Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our canine guests.

Responsibilities:
  • Animal Care: Provide top-notch care to our furry friends, including feeding, watering, and cleaning their living areas.
  • Kennel Maintenance: Maintain a clean and safe environment for our animals, including sanitizing kennels, disposing of trash, and performing light maintenance tasks.
  • Animal Interaction: Engage with our dogs during turn-out times, providing exercise, play, and socialization.
  • Communication: Report any significant changes or concerns to our owner, Angelia Jensen.
Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Previous experience caring for animals is a plus.
  • Skills: Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with a passion for dogs of all shapes and sizes.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to walk, stoop, kneel, and lift or move up to 50 pounds.
