Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Structures Technician to join our team at First Class Air Support LLC. As a key member of our aviation maintenance team, you will be responsible for assessing, repairing, and refurbishing airframe components and assemblies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess maintenance/repair requirements for airframe components and assemblies using technical manuals, service bulletins, and other approved data.
  • Provide technical information to engineers for the development of repairs outside of approved data scope when required.
  • Perform approved repair operations to structures including sheet metal and other structures.
  • Overhaul mechanical assemblies including repairs and part replacements.
  • Document maintenance/repair actions per company and FAA requirements.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience working with aircraft structures.
  • High School Diploma.
  • Must own and be skilled in the use of structures and hand tools related to the responsibilities described above.
  • Well-versed in the use of production and repair-related prints/drawings.
  • Ability to read precision measuring tools and instruments.
  • Working knowledge of FAA regulations, their interpretation, and application.
  • Intermediate level computer skills including basic use of MS Outlook (or other e-mail application), Word, and Excel preferred.
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical subject matter both orally and in writing.
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a leadership/mentorship role.
  • Associates degree in aviation maintenance or related field.
  • Airframe and Powerplant Certification.
