Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer software configuration management (SCM) processes on large-scale open systems architecture.
  • Implement and manage build server tools, including planning and execution of product implementations/rollouts.
  • Educate customers on Continuous Integration (CI) and Software Development Lifecycle best practices.
  • Manage and execute software release builds and deployments for Java and.NET applications running on WebSphere and IIS Web Servers.
  • Develop and maintain scripting using ANT, Shell, Perl, batch, and WSADMIN scripting for WebSphere Application Server.
  • Align with ITIL/ITSM, fostering and supporting a process-centric, documented environment.
  • Design workflow processes.

As a DevOps Engineer, you will also be responsible for providing project management of all SCM tasks and implementations, communicating and developing effective collaborative working relationships with IT leadership, development teams, and support partners, ensuring compliance to legal and audit requirements, and providing excellent oral and written communication skills.

Requirements:
  • BS degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering or related degree.
  • 5+ years of related experience.
  • Qualified candidate must have experience working with Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, or similar, NetApp Administration, PowerShell scripting, Linux, and BASH experience.
  • Proficient PC Skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other technical software) and excellent communication/interpersonal skills required.
Preferred Skills:
  • Amazon Web Services (AWS), Open source.
Additional Information:
