We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Specialist to join our team at Medtronic. As a Clinical Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting the Neuromodulation Pain and Target Drug Delivery Therapies in the areas of surgical coverage, follow-up support, troubleshooting, customer service, and education.
Key Responsibilities- Represent Medtronic during surgical procedures by ensuring access to necessary equipment and products.
- Manage patients through all phases of the clinical process and educate them on the features and benefits of Medtronic products.
- Provide clinical support in surgeries, re-programmings, trouble-shooting, and follow-ups in hospitals and clinics.
- Respond promptly and appropriately to technical inquiries from customers, patients, and colleagues.
- Maintain a working knowledge of competitive products and educate physicians, hospital personnel, and office staff on technical matters relating to our products and therapies.
- Assist in the education and training of new employees in the district and comply with required event reporting and documentation using Medtronic technology tools.
- Accountable for managing inventory provided for case coverage, including timely transactions, maintaining cycle count accuracy, and executing product retrievals as instructed.
- Contribute to the achievement of quarterly goals associated with specific initiatives at the district, regional, and national levels.
- Partner with sales representatives to achieve business goals and document quarterly activities using provided business tools.
- Visit accounts to replenish literature and establish/maintain relationships with office staff.
- Mentor Associate Clinical Specialists and ensure personal understanding of all quality policy/system items applicable to the role.
- A High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of 6 years of clinical or medical sales experience, or an Associate's Degree with a minimum of 4 years of clinical or medical sales experience, or a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2 years of clinical or medical sales experience.
- Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field, Master's degree, or Registered nurse or HCP with experience in a sterile environment.
- Clinical experience with implantable neurological products and patient care, experience in servicing medical personnel on product use, and experience with a medical device company or pharmaceutical company.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to work under pressure, ability to serve as the primary resource for scheduled and unscheduled clinical events, and ability to work efficiently and autonomously with little direction when outside of clinical events.
- Ability to attend national meetings, district meetings, and other training as requested, ability to wear a 7-9 lbs protective lead apron for extended periods of time in the operating room, ability to lift up to 40 lbs, and ability to sit, stand, and/or walk for 8+ hours per day.

The base salary range for this role is $68,000.00 - $102,000.00 per year, and this position is eligible for a Sales Incentive Plan (SIP), which provides the opportunity to earn significant incentive compensation for achieving or exceeding your goals.
