Job Title: Registered Nurse PRN Night Shift Labor

At Northeast Georgia Health System, we are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team on a PRN night shift basis. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse PRN Night Shift Labor position is responsible for providing direct patient care to laboring patients, scheduled inductions, cesarean sections, and obstetrical emergencies. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to laboring patients, scheduled inductions, cesarean sections, and obstetrical emergencies.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in patient care.
Requirements:
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Georgia.
  • One year of experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in a labor and delivery setting.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with discretion.
