Job Overview

At USALLIANCE Financial, we are seeking a highly skilled Loss Mitigation Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for protecting the assets of the Credit Union by overseeing defaulted loans, bankruptcies, foreclosures, repossessions, and other legal proceedings.

The ideal candidate will have extensive real estate collections experience, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment. They will also be responsible for supervising daily operations, establishing and reviewing loss mitigation procedures, and identifying trends to develop process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily operations of loss mitigation activities to ensure compliance with Credit Union policies and procedures.
  • Establish and review loss mitigation procedures to ensure consistency, accuracy, and quality.
  • Identify trends and develop process improvements to enhance department efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Anticipate emerging organizational needs and develop plans to balance objectives with resources and trends.
  • Resolve member complaints and perform duties related to staff development.
  • Compile data and generate accurate, reliable reporting for stakeholders.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of required State, Federal, CFPB, Investor, and PMI guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Extensive real estate collections experience in various states.
  • Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with members, colleagues, and superiors.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, tactfully, and professionally.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrate ability to think analytically and complete projects independently.
