Crestwood Medical Center is seeking a skilled Sleep Technologist to join our team. As a Sleep Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic testing, equipment calibration, and patient care in our sleep laboratory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnostic Testing: Perform all types of diagnostic testing offered in the department, including equipment and patient calibration, setup, performance, documentation, and troubleshooting of Polysomnographic recordings.
  • Patient Care: Provide care to patients through assessment, observation, and documentation, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Education and Training: Oversee, educate, and train PSG and student technologists during the work shift.
  • Performance Improvement: Participate in performance improvement programs and new program development to enhance patient care and laboratory operations.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or GED required; certification or registration preferred.
  • Experience: Must be enrolled in or have completed the A-STEP Online Self Study Modules; non-registered technologists and technicians must complete the A-STEP Online Self Study Modules within two years of enrollment.
  • Certifications: Current BLS required; registered preferred RPSGT.
