About the Role

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Wellness Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for promoting the overall well-being of our residents.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular wellness visits for all residents to identify and address any health concerns.
  • Assess and monitor residents' health status, documenting all pertinent information in their wellness file.
  • Collaborate with the Resident Care Director to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Provide clinical support and assistance to community team members as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with infection control practices and maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
  • Participate in Sunrise Quality Assurance Meetings and Clinical Meetings to contribute to the development of quality care initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an approved college or school of nursing.
  • Current state license as a professional Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a senior care environment.
  • Strong knowledge of nursing practices, techniques, and methods applied to health and wellness resident care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to teach and guide team members.
  • Competent in organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
