Cashier - Nick the Greek

Job Summary:

As a Cashier at Nick the Greek, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service while accurately processing transactions and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.

Responsibilities:

* Greet guests and provide a warm welcome in accordance with Nick the Greek's hospitality procedures
* Take orders and make recommendations to increase sales
* Handle cash, credit, and check transactions with accuracy and efficiency
* Provide guests with receipts and resolve any issues promptly
* Assist guests with their needs and provide a positive dining experience
* Answer phone calls, take messages, and direct calls to the appropriate person
* Maintain a clean and organized cash handling area
* Balance cash drawer and reconcile transactions at the end of each shift
* Report any issues or discrepancies to the assistant manager or restaurant manager

Requirements:

* High school diploma or equivalent
* Prior cashier experience is a plus

Work Environment:

The work environment at Nick the Greek is fast-paced and dynamic. You will be regularly exposed to outdoor weather conditions, extreme temperatures, and loud noises. You will also be required to stand for long periods, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands of this role include standing, walking, and lifting. You will also be required to use your hands, reach, and climb. You must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Pay Rate:

$17.55-$18.55 per hour, depending on location and experience
