Job Title: Mobile Phlebotomist

We are seeking experienced phlebotomists to join our team at American Health Associates, a premier clinical laboratory serving the long-term care industry. Our mobile phlebotomy service aims to provide patients with the convenience of blood draws in the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities:
  • Collect blood samples from patients in their homes, following established phlebotomy procedures.
  • Properly identify patients and ensure accurate labeling and transport of specimens.
  • Work cooperatively with dispatch, payroll, laboratory, and courier departments.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and prioritize patient and staff safety.
  • Understand and respect patient rights and confidentiality.
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision and maintain accurate records.
  • Perform routine equipment maintenance and report issues to supervisor.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 1 year of phlebotomy experience required.
  • Valid state-issued driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Reliable transportation and proof of auto insurance.
  • Phlebotomy certification from an accredited training school (preferred).
Home Draws:
  • Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience required.
  • Additional credentialing requirements must be completed prior to working on the Home Draw team.
