Job SummaryWe are seeking a per diem Registered Nurse to join our team at our clinics at the Southampton shelter, Transitions shelter, and other sites as needed. The successful candidate will provide daily nursing support for clinic patients as part of a multidisciplinary team, ensuring timely and clinically appropriate decisions are made.
Responsibilities- Direct nursing care of patients on assigned teams, ensuring all needs are met in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Accurate assessments and documentation, reporting to appropriate personnel as indicated.
- Administering medications and treatments to patients, documenting per policy and observing for adverse reactions.
- Updating and maintaining accurate treatment records, flow sheets, and vaccine administration, documenting per policy.
- Providing triage and nursing assessment of walk-in and scheduled patients as directed.
- Commonwealth of Massachusetts RN license.
- Minimum of 2 years nursing experience preferred.
- Experience with underserved populations is an asset.
