Job Summary

Responsibilities
  • Assess and document patient and family status, notifying providers of any changes.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, prioritizing patient needs and ensuring effective communication with the healthcare team.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families, promoting health literacy and self-management skills.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and currently licensed in the state of Florida to practice professional registered nursing.
  • Minimum of 1 year medical/surgical experience.
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
  • Knowledge of nursing services, preferably in a hospital setting.
