We are seeking an experienced Assistant Marketing Manager to join our Specialty Brands Marketing Team. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the consumer packaged goods industry and excellent project management, analytical, communication and influencing skills.
As an Assistant Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for supporting senior members of the team by helping to manage or directly managing a portfolio of brands. This includes developing and executing profitable trade sales and marketing programs, creating and implementing action plans, managing expenses against budget, building retail presentations to support sales team calls, providing regular reporting to brand owners (internal or external) to show progress against plan, and partnering with sales and purchasing teams to deliver accurate demand forecasts.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and executing profitable trade sales and marketing programs
- Creating and implementing action plans by analyzing pricing, promotions, channel strategy, consumer and customer sales data, competitors, geographic penetration, market/category trends
- Managing expenses against budget
- Building retail presentations to support sales team calls
- Providing regular reporting to brand owners (internal or external) to show progress against plan
- Partnering with sales and purchasing teams to deliver accurate demand forecasts
