Palm Tran, Inc., the public transit provider for Palm Beach County, seeks a seasoned Executive Director to oversee its Transportation Operations. This senior-level executive position involves high-level managerial responsibilities, including directing, coordinating, and overseeing the activities of multiple specialized sections.
Main Responsibilities:
- Directing Fixed Route Operations, Paratransit, Maintenance & Facilities, and Safety Training and Security
- Managing a multi-faceted team focused on improving awareness of existing transportation options and collaborating with community groups and organizations
- Representing Palm Tran at public hearings and meetings, advisory boards and committees, other governmental agencies, and with the public
Qualifications:
A Bachelor's Degree in Business/Public Administration or related field with a minimum of six (6) years of responsible transit operational management experience, which includes three (3) years of responsible management or supervisory experience.
