Field Engineering Technician

Position Overview:
CTL Thompson, Inc. is in search of a dedicated Engineering Technician for full-time roles within our organization. The Engineering Technician will engage in field and laboratory assessments, tests, and inspections across various projects.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other engineering personnel at the project site.
- Collect and transport sample specimens to the laboratory for further analysis and ensure daily reporting is completed.
- Maintain and clean company vehicles, equipment, and workspaces as necessary.
- Assist field managers with additional tasks as required.
- Adhere to company policies and safety regulations.

Compensation and Benefits:
The selected candidate will be awarded a Ski Season Epic Pass as a signing bonus, contingent upon six months of active full-time employment.
- Engineering Technician I: $17.00 - $28.00 per hour.
- Engineering Technician II: $20.00 - $32.00 per hour.
- Engineering Technician III: $23.00 - $36.00 per hour.
Compensation will be determined based on experience and qualifications.

Training and Development:

Work Environment:
This position operates primarily in outdoor settings, where exposure to diverse weather conditions is expected. Personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety gear will be utilized.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 65 pounds.
- Capability to navigate construction sites with uneven terrain.
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Qualifications:
- Engineering Technician I: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Engineering Technician II: High school diploma, 2-3 years of relevant experience, and a minimum of 2 applicable certifications.
- Engineering Technician III: High school diploma, 4 years of relevant experience, and a minimum of 3 applicable certifications.
