Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide support and assistance to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in community-based settings. As a Caregiver, you will work closely with our clinical staff to develop and implement therapeutic and behavioral plans, promoting independence and quality of life for our participants.

Responsibilities
  • Provide assistance with daily living skills, including meal preparation, medication administration, and personal hygiene
  • Support individuals with living skills such as personal grooming, bathing, and household budgeting
  • Assist with transportation and support in the community, including outings, field trips, medical appointments, and shopping
  • Provide guidance on developmental goals, including community participation, exercise, nutrition, and vocational responsibilities
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 18 years of age
  • Six months of experience in human services preferred
  • Valid driver's license in good standing
  • Successful clearance of background checks
  • Reliable, responsible attitude and a compassionate approach
