Job Summary:

This Travel Nurse RN position is a 13-week assignment with a 40-hour workweek. The successful candidate will work as a Registered Nurse in a Home Health setting, providing high-quality patient care and support to individuals in need.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes, focusing on promoting health, preventing illness, and alleviating suffering.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans to address these needs.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, therapists, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care and support for patients.
  • Administer medications, perform treatments, and provide education to patients and their families on disease management, self-care, and health promotion.
  • Document patient progress, including assessments, interventions, and outcomes, in accordance with regulatory requirements and SkyBridge Healthcare Home Health & Hospice policies.
Requirements:
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Virginia.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in a Home Health setting.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong assessment and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records and other healthcare software systems.
