About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and socially conscious individual to join our team as a Substitute Preschool Teacher. As a Substitute Preschool Teacher, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience and transferable skills in early childhood education.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with teachers to ensure the successful operation of a classroom.
  • Support the social and emotional development of children, using positive guidance approaches to manage challenging behaviors.
  • Encourage family involvement in the Head Start program and develop relationships between children and their families.
  • Follow all Acelero Learning policies and procedures related to health, safety, nutrition, and center operations.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Commitment and passion for working with children and families.
  • Effective communication and written skills.
  • Eagerness to adopt our values: Embracing Diversity, Teamwork & Community, Data-Informed Learning, Open Communication, and Follow-Through.
