Family Medicine Physician

AdventHealth Primary Care Network is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible family medicine or internal medicine physician to join our existing practice in Lake Wales, FL.

As a family medicine or internal medicine physician with our team, you'll experience:
- A work-life balance schedule with shared call and no weekend office hours.
- Shared call with practice call only, no hospital rounding, and nurse triage support for call coverage.
- A patient census of 18-24 patients per day, utilizing the efficiencies of EPIC, our electronic medical record.
- Dedicated admin time of 4 hours weekly.
- Flex scheduling with a 4- or 5-day work schedule.
- A dedicated clinic support team, including one medical assistant, front office staff, and a practice administrator.
- Access to a comprehensive specialty network, providing a full spectrum of care for your patients' needs.
- Clinical utilization, allowing you to practice medicine as it should be, with opportunities for preventive care, chronic disease management, acute care, and office-based procedures.
- Proficiency in minor office-based procedures, including joint injections and minor dermatologic procedures.
- Board certification in Family or Internal Medicine (or board eligibility within 3 years of completing a US-based residency program).
- An active FL medical license (or ability to secure active, unrestricted licensure).
- An active DEA license (or ability to obtain).
- Experience with or willingness to supervise Advanced Practice Providers (APRN & PA-C).
