Job Title: Per Diem Nurse - Intermediate Care

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Per Diem Nurse to join our team in the Intermediate Care Unit at our partnering hospital in Reston, Virginia.

Job Summary:

The Per Diem Nurse will provide high-quality patient care to patients in the Intermediate Care Unit, working collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to patients in the Intermediate Care Unit, including administering medications, performing treatments, and monitoring patient conditions.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information.
Requirements:
  • Current State Nursing License in Virginia.
  • Minimum 1 year of acute care experience in a hospital setting.
  • Strong background in nursing, with a focus on Intermediate Care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
