The University of Missouri is seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Capital Region Medical Center. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality MRI imaging services to patients while meeting departmental expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide MRI imaging services to patients while maintaining departmental expectations.
- Articulate a precise understanding of data flow in and out of the modality work area.
- Collaborate with management to improve patient satisfaction and departmental performance.
- Seek ways to improve systems and services.
- Maintain equipment integrity and adhere to MRI safety regulations.
- Assist the Medical Physicist in performing quality assurance testing.
- Interact with patients using the AIDET principles.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
- Ensure current certifications and licensure status.
- Understand time clock expectations and adhere to attendance and punctuality guidelines.
Requirements:
- ARRT certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Magnetic Resonance Imaging (ARRT-MR) certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional license/certification requirements as determined by the hiring department.
Physical Demands:
This position requires ambulating, reaching, and moving objects weighing up to and over 20 lbs. Rotating shifts, holiday, and work during inclement weather will be required.
