**Key Responsibilities**

  • Provide excellent customer service by engaging with each customer and presenting a friendly and cooperative attitude.
  • Perform accurate Point of Sale (POS) and cash handling procedures.
  • Communicate the Goodwill mission and values to customers, employees, and donors.
  • Receive and accurately record donations using technology.
  • Sort, clean, process, and price donated goods according to company standards.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment by following all personal protective equipment policies and procedures.
  • Follow all safety rules and exercise caution in all work-related activities.
  • Load and unload trucks and perform necessary cleaning and janitorial work.
  • Work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime when needed.

**Requirements**

  • Ability to read, speak, and write Basic English.
  • Ability to operate a cash register, personal computer, and other technology necessary to complete assigned tasks.
  • Ability to share Goodwill's purpose with customers or donors and ask for monetary donations.
  • Ability to work with a diverse team.
  • Some retail and sales experience is helpful.
  • Punctual and dependable attendance.
  • Free from alcohol and drug abuse.
  • Understanding of the basic philosophy of Goodwill and participation in carrying out its mission.
  • Adherence to Goodwill's values of Respect, Integrity, Service, and Excellence.
